Backyard Bird Count Celebration

  • Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary 615 2nd st. E. Red Lodge United States (map)

Each February the Audobon Society encourages everyone to take a few minutes in the backyards and count birds. Why not count together?

We hope you will join us in the afternoon for count of wild birds at the Sanctuary, create enrichment for our resident birds, enjoy an activity, and make a craft. No need to register, just show up!

Regular admission to the Sanctuary applies.

We also have a Wish List for bird enrichment that you can donate on this day. These items are used to encourage natural behaviors such as foraging and contribute to overall wellness for our birds. These items include: wiffle balls, pinecones, wicker baskets, newspaper, phone books, brown paper bags, mirrors, squeaky toys, peanut butter, uncooked pasta, antlers and furs.
