Backyard Bird Count Celebration

Each February the Audobon Society encourages everyone to take a few minutes in the backyards and count birds. Why not count together?

We hope you will join us in the afternoon for count of wild birds at the Sanctuary, create enrichment for our resident birds, enjoy an activity, and make a craft. No need to register, just show up!

Regular admission to the Sanctuary applies.

We also have a Wish List for bird enrichment that you can donate on this day. These items are used to encourage natural behaviors such as foraging and contribute to overall wellness for our birds. These items include: wiffle balls, pinecones, wicker baskets, newspaper, phone books, brown paper bags, mirrors, squeaky toys, peanut butter, uncooked pasta, antlers and furs.

Wild Love

Mark your calendars for this great wine & chocolate-themed fundraiser for the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary!

We will be in the upstairs room at Carbon Fork restaurant in Red Lodge, enjoying a selection of fine wines paired with luxurious chocolate dessert items made right there on premises. As you sip your wine and enjoy the desserts, we’ll present a talk on the sex lives of animals.

Which animals mate for life? Which ones have harems? What species have the biggest … well … you get the idea! What better combination for a Valentine weekend date than chocolate, wine, and love?

Since this will get a bit risqué and we're serving alcohol, it's strictly 21 and over.

Are you going to want dinner before the event, since we’re only serving wine and dessert? No problem! If you buy a ticket to our fundraiser, Carbon Fork is offering 15% off on your dinner any time earlier that evening! If that’s not enough motivation to attend, how about a free Sanctuary pass good that weekend only to everyone who attends?

$75 per couple, $40 for individuals.

PREROGATIvE Fundraiser

Throughout the month of October, you can get great food for yourself and help to feed the animals at the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary at the same time! All month, PREROGATIvE Kitchen in Red Lodge is donating their credit card tips to the Sanctuary.

You don’t have to do anything special at all. Just have a great meal, and put the tip on your credit card. We appreciate it, and our animals do too!
