Upcoming Projects
At YWS we're always pushing forward to pursue our mission at the highest standard. Whether that involves improving facilities, constructing new habitats, or adding animal enrichment items, there's always something going on at the sanctuary. We love keeping everyone updated on our ongoing projects. They wouldn't be possible without your support!

Margi's New Home

As many of you know we're in the process of constructing a brand new marmot habitat for Margi. Winter put a halt in operations but we're looking forward to continuing this project in the spring. If you have scrap lumber or carpentry supplies YWS will gladly take that as a donation!

Sandhill Crane and Vulture Habitat

This year we'll be working on the construction of two all-season enclosures with heated winter shelters for our migratory sandhill cranes and vultures. Fundraising is ongoing for this project and with your support we can build two amazing new habitats!
